Hello Everyone,

We are taking this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the proud new owners of Turtle River Whitetail
Outfitters.  We have many changes we want to m
ake so  your hunts will be more enjoyable and even
more successful.

Now I would like to inform you a little bit about myself, the area, and my hunting expertise. After prayers,
careful planning and research we decided to move to Meadow Lake Saskatchewan  so I could find an
outfitting business and enjoy chasing the monster whitetails that are available here. We moved from the
United States to Canada in the summer of 2001. Once the decision to move was made and the research
was done there was only one spot to be and that was the Meadow Lake area. We looked at several
hunting areas for 4 years before deciding this one was exactly what I wanted so we purchased it in
2006. The area is southwest of Meadow Lake in the Divide Forest area which has an abundant amount
of whitetail deer with excellent habitat as well. The area is accessible by quad only with no roads or
outside access. It is far enough away from the surrounding towns and villages that there is virtually
zero local hunting pressure. According to our wildlife managers we have an expanding deer herd that is
doing excellent in this area. Information from them is available at
www.se.gov.sk.ca   and can be easily
researched. The area consists of pristine Canadian wilderness and is the home to a variety of animals
such as whitetail deer, moose, elk, wolves, coyotes, lynx, bear, and small game.

includes the new address, email, and phone numbers.

As a Whitetail outfitter/guide let me say this " I LOVE MY WORK'' along with my wife Kathy, we put our
heart and soul into our business every season. With almost 75% repeat hunters we must be doing
something right. We beleive if we can get a hunter to come hunt with us just
ONCE then it will be a long
time before he looks elsewhere for a place to hunt!

Hunting with an outfitter is a 2-way street, a partnership, you and I will be hunting together as one. I
make sure the hunter understands that I consider him to be equally responsible for a successful hunt. I
spend hundreds of hours in the bush every year looking for the biggest bucks in the country for my
hunters to take, and nothing is more frustrating for an outfitter or guide than to work hard for a hunter
who cannot carry out his end of the deal. When you arrive for a hunt listen to what the outfitter or guide
has to tell you, it's for your own success. Next get in shape both physically and mentally....there isn't a
B&C buck behind every tree, but we have them here and some lucky hunter will take one but not
everyone does. Our hunts are not physically demanding.  And last but not least practice your shooting
skills with the weapon you will be bringing for your hunt.

We at Turtle River Whitetail Outfitters strive very hard to practice sound deer management for now and
for the future generations of hunters, by asking our hunters to only harvest mature whitetail bucks. That
way we will have superb hunting for years to come. There really is a tomorrow.

Hunters are encouraged to enjoy all aspects of their hunt, take time to learn about all the beauty that
Saskatchewan has to offer, it's country, it's people, it's wildlife and take back home with you a most
memorable experience to share with your friends and family. Make sure you bring your camera.

Now the part about what I consider to be the hardest which is talking about me. I do not want to come
across as a bragging type person but I have accomplished a lot in the short time I have been here. My 6
largest bucks score a whopping 1032 inches of gross antler and average 172 inches gross overall. Now
that's something as when I moved here I did not know anyone, had no idea of where to hunt, and did
not even know which road went where. I utilized proven hunting techniques that I had perfected for the
last 40 odd years to accomplish this. As a young person I was bitten hard by whitetail fever and have
chased them ever since. I will do for you what I have done for myself that I know works. I can not
guarantee you monster whitetails but I will promise you I will have done everything in my power and to
the best of my ability, with no shortcuts, for you to have the hunt and experience of a lifetime!

Thank You

Richard & Kathy Bailey
